hmmm...many people who can't make it...buwhahaha! that means more room for people like me who haven't made it to one yet. ;)

ok...time to go ask the wife permission.

On second thought I might be able to make it afterall.... the 11th? Now where exactly is this going to be? Boston is pretty hard to navigate for an outsider like me.... (ok, Derry is like 50 minutes out of Boston(traffic permitting), but you get the point)...

I'm in Newton, just west of Boston; nopantsyet actually works two blocks from my house! There's no need to go through the city if you're coming from New Hampshire. Just shoot around Rt 128, and it's fairly simple.

So far we're confirmed with....

Dr. Midnight
Gospog
Chronosome
Conaill
Umbran
Nopantsyet
333 Dave!

I can run eight if necessary; I'm holding a space for Balsamic Dragon until she tells me that she can't make it, at which point I'll open it up.

If wee have enough people for a second game, my house can easily accommodate three games at once. So if you can play that day, post!

Forrester, I'd love to finally game with you at some point. I'm just sorry it isn't this weekend... but what the heck, there will be lots more opportunities.

Anyone else interested?

Yeah, I'm interested and available on the 11th if there's enough room, but if not I have no problem sitting out on this one to let some new blood get in on the action.

Also, I've never played Paranoia but I'm not afraid to learn.

Clearly, you're just afraid that a Paranoia character with a club foot and periscoping vision would be too tough for the others to deal with.

*sniff*

I guess I'll just have to wait for the next one.

We can do it from 2pm-7pm, if you prefer, instead of 4pm-9pm. Any preferences? I'm just fine with either.

Dave, if Balsamic Dragon doesn't get back to me in the next few days (she's in law school, and her schedule is usually ugly), you're in!

You should toss your expectations of traditional RPGs. In Paranoia, the trick isn't to stay alive... it's to die with style. :D

Never fear! In Paranoia, expressing excessive (reading excessive as "nearly any") knowledge of the rules is treason, and can get you summarily executed. Best darned rules-lawyer control system in all of gaming! :)

P-cat: I may have some electronic copies of "Tips for Traitors" around here (and yes, such copies certainly fall under "fair use"). If I do, would you like them to distribute to folks who don't know the game?
