Encounter Review: Kuo-Toa on the High Seas

The Kuo-Toa are amphibious, so no they wouldn't need to do a balance check because they're native to both terrain. A frog doesn't risk falling over when it comes out of the water.

The monster manual description states they are fish people not frog people.
So I stand with my orginal remark....lol

The Sahaugin also have the same movement on land as they do in water.
there description refers to them as sea dwellers with traits simular to sharks.

Just a note, Kuo-Toa have usually been associated with underdark waterways, the Sahuagin are normally associated with the open sea.
