Endurance skill in compendium

Just FYI: in addition to the Stealth changes, the Compendium has also changed Endurance so that the DCs match those given in ch 9 of the DMG.

Without actual "updates" there's really no way to tell whether the changes are intentional though.

EDIT: I actually believe they simply added only the values from the DMG. I believe the PHB ones which are different are different on purpose, because they govern different situations.

"Ignore hunger" is not defined in the PHB, nor is it defined in the DMG. However, in the DMG "Ignore hunger for more than 3 weeks" is defined, and that is the 20+ value shown. It's *possible* the DC 10+ check is just to literally ignore the hunger in an RP sense (weak argument, I know).

Holding breath for each round after 5 is similarly not represented in the DMG -- a totally different situation is shown. Holding breath after 5 rounds is for during stressful situations by default, because the 3 minute rule is supposed to apply to "outside of strenuous situations" (as it says in the beginning of that section of the DMG), with the DC 20 check needed if you take damage while holding your breath (an expansion to the PHB).

Anyway, there are lots of things which don't exactly line up, and official errata is needed.

There is no evidence for this that I'm aware of. There are just inconsistent rules in the published books.
