Still not liking the way I present my character here... Why does the darn chart always go out of line...
Here's the complete charsheet, as I had it planned: Will have layout it on a later occasion.

Author Background
I based this figure on various characters from comics and cartoons; when I think of Dareios,
I think of Bala in the classic “Prince Valiant” comic strips, and maybe of young Guts in
“Berserk”. His background was created with the Wild Coast or the Grand Duchy of
Karameikos in mind. As his place of birth and youth, I would favour Brindinford from the
WotC module “A Speaker in Dreams”.
Character Background
Already an experienced warrior and sellsword of about 23 years, Dareios hails from a distant
southern coast town. The eldest son of a shepherd, he was trained as a member of his
earldom's city guard troops, but denied to advance to higher military ranks because of his low
birth.
Frustrated, Dareios left his home and spent four years in the wild frontier regions, where he
earned a fame as honest and moral man of war. For saving a nobleman's life in a battle against
Gnollish marauders, he has recently been offered knighthood, and is now travelling to the
royal court to claim this new title that may grant him whatt he always has desired: A peaceful
and respected life with his family.
Dareios is cold and merciless in battle, and when he draws his sword, he does so to kill. On
the other hand, he is a quiet, almost timid person, when he's away from the battlefield, maybe
because he still considers himself an illiterate peasant. But though he is a quiet observer and a
calm opponent in any emotional discussion, he will not tolerate behaviour that goes against
his strict sense of right and wrong.
