Enemy Among Us (DM: Stringbean2142, Judge: TwoHeadsBarking)

[sblock=Atriden]
Listening to Veruzak and Martelai discussion, about using these victims as body parts infuriates Atlas. Once again his eyes and symbols become bright and glowing with anger " Molon Labe! " he says in the primordial tounge " They have been through enough! No one will use these poor souls for anything but what their families and friends wish for This is their decision and not yours! " and he starts taking deep breaths to cool himself down.
Could you please re-read last few posts from me including replies from Veruzak and Bell. I get the impression that you responded solely on Bell's reaction (which is fine if you want it that way IC), but not on Maretlai DEFENDING living victims and NOT ALLOWING them to be used as body parts (in fact he advocated bringing them back to town until Bell interjecetd...

Until now, Atlas seemed very calculated and not prone to flights of fancy as Bell is. Of course, this creates good opportunity for RPing again :)

[sblock=Neurotic]I know. It was the mere discussion of using body parts for igor's that ticked Atlas off. Don't worry, he is far more offended by Veruzak than Martelai. Man the role-playing in this game is great![/sblock]

[sblock=OOC about roleplaying]
roleplaying in groups of different moral outlooks is by neccessity better since we have to find IC way to not kill each other :) Or at least to stay together and cooperate. It happens with two faiths, differing races etc, but most pronounced difference is good - evil axis...

I have the honor of playing in one such in 3.5, playing heretic knight in party with paladin and cleric who already have druid (heretical). So far, twice we came to blows only to RP stand off ... so I know what I'm talking about.

Bell surpressed a smile at Atlas' outburst. She kept her head down till people seemed ready, then drawing her dagger again, she spoke.

"Lead on Veruzak. We are with you."

With everyone's confirmation, Veruzak finds a steady center, and starts feeling out the static. The white noise feels shifty, like sand flowing over his mind, but the eladrin wizard focuses on where the most friction is.
I think I've found the general direction. Veruzak sets off in the search of the static-origin at a quick pace, robes swishing with each lengthy stride.

Do we need a marching order?

Any checks we'll need to make along the way?

RP is great folks, looking forward to more :)

Poor Martelai, trapped between good and evil!

Atlas knows these mindless drones lost their soul, right? ;)

I'm interested to see where this is all headed!

[sblock=OOC]I'd say we could let whole island become mindless and install IAC headquarters as farm for Igor replacement parts :) :devil:

"I'm ready to go. Lead on."

[sblock=For DM]
I don't know any fast and hard rules about knowledge about stars. Whether it's arcana or dungeoneering or something else. This is from DM 366:

Caiphon: This purple star is usually on the horizon. It has the guise of a helpful guide star, but sometimes betrays those who rely upon it.

[sblock=ooc]I imagine your marching order would look something like this:

First line: Atlas and Kent
Second line: Martelai and Catein
Third line: Veruzak and Bell

But I could be wrong. Speaking of things I could be wrong about, it would be great if people could confirm the below:

Atlas: 25/26 hp, 3/9 surges, 1 AP.
Bell: 25/25 hp, 2/6 surges, 1 AP, spent daily.
Catein: 26/28 hp, 7/9 surges, 1 AP, spent daily.
Kent: 31/31 hp, 3/8 surges, 1 AP.
Martelai: 28/28, 6/9 surges, 1 AP, spent daily.
Veruzak: 15/20 hp, 2/6 surges, 1 AP, spent daily.

This assumes that Kent and Martelai took advantage of Song of Rest. I'm very unsure if I found all of Catein's surge uses.

Update coming later today.[/sblock]

[sblock=Neurotic]I'd accept either Arcana or Dungeoneering. Maybe even History. Feel free to give that info to Bell.[/sblock]
