Since we have decided to play through Scales of War, Bahamat's avatar is going to pop up here and there throughout the campaign, including right before the players enter Greenest.
Oops, I must have missed this when you originally posted it!

Have you decided how you're going to introduce Amyria (the NPC who will eventually become pivotal in resurrecting Bahamut)? Or maybe you've already introduced her by now. Anyway, I'm curious how you're handling her.

Also, since one of my players has the Gold Dragon background, she is eventually going to discover that she is actually one of Bahamat's canaries.
During the fight against Arauthator, I had him address only one particular* character ... as "Canary". ("Very good, Canary, I see you found a competent archer to bring with you!" after taking a Crit from an Arrow of Dragon Slaying .)

* Dragons speak to dragons, not to lesser races. The other PCs were obviously hangers-on and the minions (or specialist technicians) of the important enemy - the disguised gold dragon

So far they've only met Bahamat once, but he called Andry "Little Bird."

My players are probably leaving the raider's camp for the first time in today's session -- without having seen any prisoners, let alone rescued them -- although they did gain some intel on them. How have other people dealt with this? Are the prisoners still in the camp when the return? On the wagon train? Never to be seen or heard from again?

My players did something similar. I had Leosin Erlanthar escape on his own and rejoin the party in Greenest. All the other prisoners have been taken to the Well of Dragons waiting to be sacrificed, by some different means than the caravan that is transporting the treasure.

I like that solution. My kids ended up surprising me. One decided to turn herself into a rat so she could scout undetected, found all the prisoners, and then they came up with a solution that freed everybody.

Man, this thread brings back memories! Now I want to run this campaign again. (Unfortunately I've already run it for one of my groups, and I've just started a different campaign with my other group, so it'll have to wait.)

My group has just had session zero for ToD. They’ve in a stage coach heading to Greenest along the Canterbury Trail. I’m hoping all they have a story to tell on the way.

Does anybody know of any side quests that would include a blue dragon's lair? My dratted players just came up with a good hook, but now I have to figure out how to tie it in to the overarching story!

I am cross-posting this to the Tiamet thread as well.
