Hm. Well I have participated in *1* Ceramic DM and I, um, lost in the first round. But, if you like my story feel free. I will edit a couple grammar mistakes first, would you like me to email you the edited version?

I'd be happy to contribute any/all of my work, and I'm sorry I didn't see this thread earlier. I'm also interested in a preface: while I'm not all that good at editing my own work, I could put together a intro of some sort for my story, or for one volume as a whole, or even a general intro.

As soon as I get some work stuff out of the way, I'll get around to digging out my old stoires and fixing them up.

I was thinking a preface to the stories, a smapp paragraph that describes main themes or ideas the author wanted to explore, or just summarize the pics and how bad these fit into any story the author came up with. A short blurb about the allure of Ceramic DM. Something like that.

If you want a general preface, it'd be best, imo, to have something dealing with the contest as a whole. What good is it? Experiences, goals. Maybe something from Clay, BSF, Piratecat, or similar alumni (Sialia as contributing artist?).

I'd be happy to write something like that, but I'm not really sure it's in my position to do so.

I will toss in a few thoughts here.

Ryan, first off remember that some of the earlier contests only ran 8 competitors to start. That produced a total of 14 stories for the entire contest run, assuming nobody dropped out. Quite frankly, I think you are being a bit overambitious wtith shooting for 12-16 stories from each contest. It would be great if you go that, but it would be pretty impressive. I would love to be proven wrong though.

How much cleanup are you looking for? I would love to throw some stories into the mix, but I don't have the time to do much editting. I am going to try to clean up Cleansing and possibly Quest for Mimir if you are interested in those. Duty and Rojo were both fun, but they have flaws that are not easily fixable. Still, if you are interested in them, feel free to use them.
Rainmaker and Delusional both need adjustments and the two stories are a little too personal to me to put out there as is. I would love to clean them up and submit them, but I know I don't have the time to redo either story the way I want to. Perhaps down the road I can get those two cleaned up and try to submit them.

Let me know which ones interest you the most.

I do hope Piratecat will allow you to use Iconography. He has great stories, but this one is just special for the way he uses the iconographic characters.

Hey, does anyone have a link to each of the CDM threads that they could post? I don't think I ever saved final versions of anything I had used for the contest and have pieces of each story from each contest I entered strewn across different machines (work, home, laptop & pda). It will likely be easier to pull mine from the threads and I will try to spend some time editing before sending anything.

Feel free to use anything I have posted for anything that generates money for ENWorld. This place kicks @$$.
