All my stories are up for grabs, but I think I only made the final four once, only to be STOMPED by P-kitty.

IF someone writes a preface, I would like to see it before it goes to print. Not to be too picky, but my name and fingerprints are all over this thing.

Hey, does anyone have a link to each of the CDM threads that they could post? I don't think I ever saved final versions of anything I had used for the contest and have pieces of each story from each contest I entered strewn across different machines (work, home, laptop & pda). It will likely be easier to pull mine from the threads and I will try to spend some time editing before sending anything.

Feel free to use anything I have posted for anything that generates money for ENWorld. This place kicks @$$.

look at the most recent Ceramic DM thread, and there's a link in the first post to an FAQ, which should have links to other competitions. Or maybe BardStephenFox will just stop by here and post his summary.

So far I have received emails from David Garrett, Patrick Pricken, Siala (whoo boy have I received emails from Siala -- but I still have another 100 MB of space in the account, so keep sending if you'd like!), and J C P.

If you want to include a 100 word preface to your story, feel free. I don't want to go overboard, though, since the stories should speak for themselves. If you're unsatisfied, though, a preface that explains your choices might be better than rewriting huge parts of the story.

I don't ask or expect any substantial edits on the part of the authors. Any editing I do will be just to fix technical mistakes. Don't be shy about submitting something that's not perfect; you'll be in good company, since everyone wrote their stories in a limited timespan.

And, if I may say so clearly, if you want to submit something, please send it to me. Please do not say "Here are my stories (link, link) if you want them." My workload is heavy enough that I won't be able to follow links to your stories, read them all, and copy/paste them to document files. Please save me a little bit of work by deciding what you like and sending those to me at RangerWickett@hotmail.com.

I'll post an update to this thread on Monday.

Alsih2o, I would certainly hope you would review any preface on Ceramic DM in general! It is your baby.

Ryan, I will try to get some stuff in email to you this weekend. But it might not be until late Sunday evening since I am moving houses.

I would suggest that everyone remove explicit links to pictures before emailing Ryan. As Sialia mentioned earlier, we need to be careful not to use pictures that we don't have permission to republish.

Gosh, use any of mine if you'd like--I am really not a good judge of my own work, so I don't know which one(s) would be best. (God knows they could use editing.)

Just off the top of my head, Mythago: the one with the tank and the doves, and the one with the garage full of mucus--oh, oh--and the giraffe in the mist startles the lion with the pschyostalker in its head --and unpainting the trees. Those were keepers.Or at least hard to forget, which is close to the same thing.

So far I've received about 20 entries, not quite the level I was hoping for. This weekend I'll finish up my remaining E.N. Publishing projects, so that next week I can focus on getting the fundraiser going.
