Okay, I've received 27 entries, with some multiples from a few competitors. Right now I'm planning to just have one book, with one story from each writer, and some art from Siala. Folks who handled art before, if you know that some of the art was definitely in the public arena, let me know and I'll see if I can work some in, but right now I was thinking of just having a gallery at the end of the book.
I've skimmed all the stories, and tonight I'll go back through them more in depth, editing. Then I'll compile a list of who all submitted, and post it here so everyone can discuss stuff if they'd like. Right away, though, I want to point out that Piratecat hasn't submitted anything. He's a big name from the contest, and I hope he's willing and able to donate something, though I know he's busy with real life concerns now.
Similarly . . . Alsih2o, I thought you were good to go for submitting, and that judging the ENnies is no conflict. If you submitted something, it must have slipped my mind and I forgot it was yours. And BSF, pick whichever story you like best and send it to me. I really am a little strapped for time, and the less I have to spend reading through posts and picking out stories, the sooner we can get the compilation done.
I really do want to make sure we get the best stories, which is why I'm taking the time to read and proofread everything sent to me, but if you can save me a little work by sending your best, I'd appreciate it.

I did email you. A couple of times actually. But only use the last one since I screwed up the first two.
I know Alsih2o is moving, across states no less. I'm not sure if he is currently checking the boards, but I will email him to see.
I know Piratecat won't be back near the boards until Tuesday. He is having a rather rough year this year.

Sorry for not getting in with the list like I said. I won't get into the details, but reading the fiction has been much more pleasurable than the thing that was previously eating up all my time. I'm working as quickly as I can.
