Hey again..been awhile on the boards.
I am looking for a clear and concise place to find the meaning of being entangled whether it is by the said spell or web...etc.
I had a big disagreement with the way the 3.5 rules say about being entangled.
I seem to think that if you are entangled you can make half moves but still have a -2 to attack and -4 to effective dex. It doesnt mean you are immobile or flat-footed so you cannot be sneak attacked. Of course, in the same paragraph it sates "being entangle impedes movement (ie you move at half) unless the bonds are anchored to an immovable object or tethered by an opposed force (hmmmm....)" so if you are in a web you are unable to move (if you didnt make your save) is this right? If so then you are immoble and cannot move so you can be sneak attacked...or am I wrong?
Is the (actual)entangle spell considered anchored since it grows from the ground and vines in the area? I would like a place that goes in depth on these questions if there is one out there. Thanks.
