Why does Acrobat open whenever I move around the site? On top of internet explorer, another 30meg of RAM is being used just to read through the forums. Why?

EDIT: My comp
Dell Latitude D820
Intel 2 CPU T5500 @ 1.66G
XP Pro SP2
IExplorer 7

That's darn strange. Doesn't happen for me.

PS: Just seeing the location "Saginaw, MI" reminds me of playing 4e Gamma World at the "Sagow Enstoot".

I don't get it, either. Some kind of ActiveX control is being requested that opens up Acrobat. When I disable it, the browser asks for it. Odd.

The Adobe thing happens to me too.
I said something about it a few months ago but no one had any clue what the cause was.

I've found no solution for it.

IE 7 seems to have several bugs that cause such annoyances. Have you tried using Firefox or IE 6 to view teh boards?

I didn't find anything in the source that would call it up, either. Must be an ie bug, though it's not dramatic enough to make me swap browsers right now. It would be more of an issue if my RAM was below 512, I reckon. But I was just curious about it.

FWIW, I also know that IE7 has several bugs that make desktop music programs inoperable, too. My suggestion would be to reinstall IE6 and try that for a while.
