ENWorld Gencon Pickup Games?

My schedule is subject to change based on two items: my success (or lack thereof) in the Cthulhu Masters Tournament and the announced time of T-Bill's Giant Monster Rampage game. That said, I'd love to play in either a round robin DM event or any EN World pick up games. I will come ready to run Cthulhu, Modern and perhaps even an Eberron game.

I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible.

Just a little bumpage for the masses.

If I fly, which I'm heavily leaning towards (just need to get my tickets), I'd be open to some gaming Sunday morning as well.

Ok, got my tickets. Whose running the Sunday morning pick-up game? :)

I leave at 3:15. Of course, with a noon check-out time, I'm liable to be walking around with a suitcase, but I suppose I'll manage. I probably won't bother bringing my inflatable mattress, since it'll just be too much of a headache to deal with now.

That's OK, as long as the couch is still mine!

I'll definitely be up for some EN World pick-up games. I signed up for a few seminars, but am leaving myself lots of free time to wander around (including all day Thursday).

Oh well. Yea, I can see that driving from Rhode Island would suck. I'm leaning heavily on flying. It will allow me to actually do something Sunday morning. I need to price a one-way ticket there from D.C., and a one-way ticket back to Richmond. Probably would be more. Not sure my wife will want to drive all the way to D.C. to pick me up on Sunday, especially since I'll want to come back late in the evening.

Also check into what they used to call "open jaw" flights: A-->B, B-->C (or A-->B, C-->A). Used to be that you could book such a thing for roughly the same price as a roundtrip (A-->B, B-->A), which is to say considerably cheaper than two one-ways. I believe most of the travel websites refer to them as "multiple destination" or something similar, nowadays.

edit: except that i see i'm too late already.

What do you mean by "round-robin GM"? What sort of game is it? Sounds intriguing.

Basically everybody makes a character and somebody starts GMing. At regular intervals (between 15-45 minutes) you switch the GM to the person to your left and so on.

He ran one of these at the last NC Game Day and, while I didn't participate, it looked like a ton of fun. I'm getting in on the one at GenCon if possible.
