EOM Character sheet?

There's no official one, but if anyone creates one we'll gladly host it!

Well, I've put together a little something. It's not at all fancy, but I suppose it's better than nothing. It's a Word file (I can't seem to manage to convert it to .pdf) that I believe covers the basics. It's intended to be used with a normal character sheet that will contain stats, combat, skills, etc.

I'll gladly make it available if someone tells me how to do it.

When you are making a new post, simple look for a button named "Manage Attachments". Above are the filename ending limitations, so don't use something exotic.:)

Looking at the PDF I have to say that it is a nice looking sheet. Because I can't open the word file - is that a direct conversion?
Content:
  • The line for the save DC is a little to short - it doesn't account Intense Spell. At least a short table for all possible MP up to 20 and their resulting save DC would be useful. Ema's charsheets use such a table.
  • I'm missing the magical feats - at least those with an impact on the spells. Where do I write, that spells costs 1 MP less under certain conditions?
  • For what are the white boxes next to the MP and Cantrip entries?
  • Page 2: Are the description lines for short descriptions only? Or do you use an extra sheet with full blown spells?
  • I wonder, if all necessary information can be provided with the short list entries - at least a hint for looking up certain things like for necessary side effects would be good. Or I could mark them simply with a "*". I have to test that.
Otherwise, nothing wrong occurred me. The rest comes with the play. ;)

Thanks. It is not direct, but it is certainly derivative.

The space is for "base" DC before adding the MP bonus. A Mage with a Charisma of 12, for example, would write "11" in the blank. It requires a little fast arithmetic of the player, but I find that an acceptable trade-off, personally. Of course, I've been known to write short tables in the margin so I can stop trading off, if I need to... YMMV. For Intense Spell, just make the ad hoc adjustment.

The Notes block is where I'd put directly relevant stuff like that. Otherwise, I'd personally put magical feats on my main character sheet with my other feats.

These are meant to be "hash mark" boxes; a place to record your *current* or *remaining* MP and Cantrips (leaving the line blanks with your max totals in pristine condition).
  • Page 2: Are the description lines for short descriptions only? Or do you use an extra sheet with full blown spells?
Generally, yes, short description reminders. You could of course use multiple Description lines per spell and just skip down on the Name column. That's why the lines are shaded in groups of three; using three (or six!) lines per spell is easiest. Just print out multiple copies of Page 2 if you need them.

Whatever makes sense to you. A page reference to EOMR, a short note to yourself, or anything else that cudgels the grey matter.
Otherwise, nothing wrong occurred me. The rest comes with the play. ;)
Eager to hear how it works in actual play. Thanks again!

Nice job, Marius- Thanks

After starting to come up with some signature spells, I realized that much more space was needed. Like Marius said, the single lines could be for quick reminders- you probably want a separate sheet for your signature spells with full descriptions.

One of the things I like best about the SRD is the ability to copy spells verbatim into a personalized "spellbook" for each character. Such a spellbook might be a better approach for EOMR signature spells than a blank form.
