Epic Characters - Aspect Manifestation. A different take on playing "beyond" level 20.

Hi there!

I've seen many homebrewed rules for playing post-20, and although some had interesting mechanics, they all had one thing in comon: balancing issues, as most offered rules for increasing character levels beyond 5e's level cap.

Here's my take.

You'll notice that some of the mechanics are derived from 5e's rules itself. Feel free to use and modify it to your own taste at your table.

And I'd love to hear what you think!

Interesting idea. It is simple and balance. Though, I think some of the other systems for adding levels are well thought out and balanced.

However, I am not sure this feels sufficiently "epic" to me. In fact, that is also an issue I have with any system that simply adds more levels (including new class features, etc.). That is why I am working on updated the D&D "Immortals" rules to 5e.
