Epic D&D 3.5: The Eye of Profane Truth [full]

I believe Epic Counterspell is in the ELH.

My brain is failing me on Reactive. I'll have to look it up when I get home. I'll also check the prereqs on Epic...it may be that Epic makes Reactive redundant if it's not a prereq...

Anyway. I shall post all specifics on feats, PrC's, etc, tonight when I can look them up. :)

Oh... so humans and other LA +0 races are kosher after all? I was under the impression that we were having to make ECL 30 characters with races that had a level adjustment of at least +1 or more. If all the standard races are open... well, that frees up my options rather significantly. However, until I'm certain about this particular issue, I'm holding off on a final decision.

I have to admit, though, I'm having some rather twisted ideas running through my head. I just want to be sure before I get seriously working on stats and stuff.

Improved Counterspell is PHB...but you knew that.

Reactive Counterspell and Epic Counterspell are...my bad. I rememebered seeing the feats at work but not from where. They're both from Forgotten Realms, and I shall excise them from the concept. :)

Still, the idea of a mage who waits patiently for the opponent to cast...then hits back hard...it has a certain appeal. I shall develop it.
 

This is kind of personality sketch of Lorgrane (since we don't have much of an idea of what kind of past our characters have, from the background you gave, it appears we are "new" to the world)

He knew why he had been created. The Overgod had formed him from primal chaos and caste him in the role of a hero. But, as Lorgrane sat and contemplated that role, he realized that he had no emotional commitment to it at all.

Intellectually he knew that Naramyr’s crusade was ultimately destructive, but in the grand scheme of things, the loss of a population meant very little. In a thousands years, it would matter not at all. He realized this was not a “human” reaction. That he was disconnected in some significant way, but he could not draw any significance to that either. This is who he was.

Still, if he did not fulfill the Overgod’s wishes, he may end up being un-created, which may prove to be an interesting experience, but none the less would prevent him from learning more about this world. In that thought he finally found something he cared about. He was curious and he wished to learn more.

CN Changeling Warlock 20 / Chameleon 10

The plan: Epic Infiltrator is perfect for this guy (although one of the requirements is Read Lips 10 ranks -- Rhket, I need a call on whether that should be Spot 10 ranks, since Read Lips was rolled into Spot, or if I should disregard that particular skill requirement), and the possibilities of a "Pretender" (no, I won't call him Jarrod) just seem so right for this. I'll get started on setting up stats and stuff for this.

As an alternative...

LE Human Monk ? / Warlock ?

The plan: Not quite certain here -- depends on a couple of factors. I need to know whether I could potentially pull a feat from Eberron (Monastic Training), which would allow me to multiclass freely between monk and warlock.

The 3.5 SRD has spot 10 as a requirement. You can look at it here.
 

Ah, very good. Now, to wait and see what Rkhet says about Monastic Training -- the monk/warlock concept I just edited my earlier post on is something I've always thought would be cool to see. At the same time, though, I don't want Steve Gorak feeling like I'm stepping on his toes, either (since I'd skimmed over his post and only now just noticed his warlock/ur-priest concept -- nice one, by the way, Steve), hence why I'm leaving open the prospect of having this extra monk/warlock concept thrown out there.

I can't help it, I just really like the warlock class. :)
 

Question!

If I spend money to buy a scroll of Genesis in my initial equipment, can I start with a demiplane? Or would I have to use the scroll during the game (expending a week of time, etc), then wait for it to grow as per the spell desc?
