Epic Destiny: Which one will make it?

True, but they also get many "rejected" or un used art submissions that don't make the cut, they could easily use some of them there.

I like the Eternal Hero and Ragnorok guy flavour's the best so hopefully if any make the cut it's those two.

All of them with artwork, sooner or later.

The Force of Nature definately isn't gonig to be in at first.

I'm guessing the first one won't be in PHB1. I don't think we'll see artifacts in the first set of rule books.

There will be at least 4 epic destinies in the PH1 (don't remember where this was stated, perhaps R&C). One of those is in that article.

At the same time, a much smaller number of Paragon Paths was also announced. So we might have several more epic destinies as well. I hope so--I liked all of those except the wild shape one, which clearly we won't be getting in PHB1.

I don't recall the source--one of the blogs, I think--but one of the developers waxed at length about working on the artifact section of the DMG. So yes, we'll have them--although the Artifact Lord isn't highly dependent on actual artifacts.

Doesn't it actually mention the artifact rules being in the 4E DMG in that very article? Somewhere near the bottoms, near 'character hooks' or something to that effect.

Edit: Yup, just checked. Says it under the 'Immortality of Metal and Stone' bit below the Artifact Lord's abilities.

I am thinking Artifact Lord and Demigod will be in PHB1 (Artifact Lord could though also appear in whatever PHB has Artificer (for synergy)).

Demigod I think is a safe bet since they talked about becoming a demigod using Epic Destines.

Force of Nature and Mystic Shadow I could see in PHB2 to work in co with Primal and Shadow Power Sources (more synergy).

I dunno where Eternal Hero go, but could fit in PHB1 too. I personally really think this is a neat one, since it reminds me of "The Nameless One" from Planescape: Torment.

I'm guessing eternal hero will be at least one fot he ones in there... Good concept for a game about heros...
