Epic: How has it gone?

I have not attempted a direct conversion of my old 2nd Ed. characters that were over 20th level, and have yet to play with my ELH. Having said that, what is it that was too low powered? I would think the feats at that level would be enough to cover any power issues.

Its a divine level campaign, with a lot of house rules like power points for spells and the like. So it didn't really suit our level of play. From what I've seen of Deities and Demigods that wouldn't really do either. I'm currently playing a Lesser God, the other players are a Demi-god and two high level minions.

An Inverse 23?

Hong "heaven help that there should be 23 Lina Inverses" Ooi

Although I imagine the ELH would be the only way you could fire off a proper-sized Dragon Slave... I don't have it, but is there any sort of reference to the original super-powered paradigms from Japan in there? It sounds like it would fit like a glove.

Not that I recall. Although you could probably fake it (without having to resort to the ELH) by multiplying the areas of effect for all blast spells by a couple of orders of magnitude, and halving all hardness and hit points for objects. Epic levels are all about massive property damage, don't you know?

Damn, now I'm going to HAVE to get the d20 Slayers book from Guardians of Order. As if having "Get Along/Try Again" repeating in my head wasn't bad enough.

Yeah, it wouldn't be that hard. Add a 'property damage' radius to the boom spells, that is bigger than the normal radius. Does extra damage to buildings and terrain features, but only a little (or none) to creatures.
