Epic level Orc and Pie

Has anyone done this?

Slap the Paragon template on the orc, make the walls out of adamantine/lead alloy and increase the value of the pie to 100,000 gp, and I think we're done.

You need some kind of apocalyptic adventure hook. Something overblown and cheesy but still of earthshattering import. Perhaps the pie contains the souls of all unborn children, and no children can be born until the pie is cut open and the souls are free. That sounds epic enough.

You also need to change the setting to something suitably epic. Hmm...

* deep within the gelatinous center of the Demiplane of Baked Goods
* high atop the Spire of Inexplicable Pointiness
* past the Quadruple Doors of Impressive Capitalized Words

I've been tempted to do out a series of orcs to cover CRs 1-20 and have them be recurring adventure elements thrown in once every time the party is a new level.

Perhaps start off an adventure with an orc and pie scene, sort of like the James bond intro segments, before the real adventure gets underway.

You could always just make it Orcus and pie.

One to remember if my own group gets too cocky.

"You are charged with heading into the underworld and facing the demon prince of the undead."

"By whom?"

"A hungry looking Orc warlord. Someone stole his most prized possession..."

I ran an "Orc and Pie" adventure this weekend called "Assualt on Limberry Bakaery"
Basically, a group of orcs took over the local bakery.
I mean it had orcs and it had pies, right? ;)
