Casablanca

I have to disagree with this. Casablanca is just about my favourite movie ever, but it isn't epic. To quote Rick, it's about "the problems of three small people" that "don't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world."

Casablanca?

well, somewhere else in the movie, Rick (or the narrator) says that the whole world is watching what happens in Casablanca.

So, it could qualify for Epic. But I agree that the definition of Epic is loose. I would argue however, that Casablanca is much more Epic than The Maltese Falcon (although I like both movies equally).

Is The Untouchables Epic? I think it is.
