epic personalities

just thought i'd throw this out there (and i'm a lazy dm )

the players need another member for thier party lacking an actual person to play i decided to make a few npc's up to "try out" as it were to join them.

what i need is personalities for these people. I beleive anybody who could make it to 25th level is going to have something of a well developed personality and style all their own, and i don't want to just play the characters as bland npcs.

one of the npc's is a half dragon (red) cleric of kossuth chaotic neutral.
another is a sorcerer/incantratix/archmage possible lich.
and the last is a magic item creation machine wizard.

No really I think it is - nice to see the acknowledgement that 'epic' characters need epic personalities. I wholeheartedly agree.

How about drawing from the big screen 'epic' personalities. They used Sean Connery to flesh out the dragon in 'dragonheart', and ma be you can take quirks and personalities from high charisma stars to fill out your epic level characters.

This need not be overt or obvious to the other players, but it can give you a ready made personality.

If I can get my scanner to work, I'll send you my character sheet of MY LVL 6/31 Fighter/Paladin, who happens to be the Right Hand of Heironious and a due to lack of other words, a battle-paladin.

By the way, he took out Cthulhu's avatar in less than 2 rounds. That should give you a good idea of what he's capable of!
