[Epic] Please help!

Okay, I'm running an epic campign and I need an idea to capture one of the PCs. First, a bit of background.

The characters are as follows.
Half-Celestial/Elf Level 24 Pal/lvl 8 Divine Emisary (heironeus)
Were Gorilla Level 10 Tribal Protector, Level 23 Fighter
Paragon Human Fighter level 23

The world is full of city states. Magic is moderate, except for the fact that the celestials have a very active hand in protecting the plane. Demons are nothing more than fairy tales, although angels (celestials) are somewhat common.

The Hand of God Character is the main focus at this point. He just found out he has a blind half-celestial/elf son who is a prophet.

I need to think of a way to capture him, but my creative juices are kinda drying up.

Just recently they got off a mission to save the son and The paladin's brother (Fighter/Legendary Dreadnought) who had been captured by a buffed up Huneffer who was corrupting the brother and using him to rally demons and generally cause a bit of chaos.

Please help!

Who is it that needs to capture him? If they are capable, they could research an epic spell just simply to summon the prophet if it is incredibly important; they'd even have a good reason to keep the prophet alive in that case. Or, perhaps just simply an epic spell to summon Celestial Elves in general.

I just read my post and realize I need to clarify

The person I want captured is the hand. The people who are doing the capturing I'd best not say in an open forum. Just put it this way.. they are bad bad d00ds with powereful mojo.

Then epic Summon spells are a good way to do that.

Use epic summoning spells to summon phasms to trap the Hand in a time stasis, then drag him off. Or ambush him and have all of the capturers weilding weapons of exhausting (+1d6 subdual, all damage dealt is subdual). Or, if you have CofC, throw paragon greater pseudonatural advanced to 25HD nightgaunts at him.

hold someone dear to him hostage, or make some kind of epic level subdualer. You could use a trap with a high DC, or maybe just a harm and quickened magic missle or something.

If I understand this correctly, this is the guy you want captured:

Half-Celestial/Elf Level 24 Pal/lvl 8 Divine Emisary (heironeus)

Try to lure him in a magic dead area on Toril, or any other place with magic dead areas (Not a big one), once inside, have the protagonist cast a domed wall of force all around the magic dead area and then have the caster Wish the wall of force to be permanent.

As far as I am concerned IMC, in a magic dead area, no magic (mortal, spell like or godly) will work, period. So he his effectivelly stuck in there. You can go event further by having a small hill limited wished over the wall of force with a small hiden cavern entrance to reach the wall of force. If in or near a city, limited wish a small house built over the wall of force.

This produce the main thing, he is captured and no one will be able to find him in a magic dead area. prisoner. He wont be able to use his own magical abilities to escape and the opponent won't harm him as long as he is in there. So he his effectivelly contained. The protagonist can speak with him, threaten his loved one on and on until he accomplishes the adventures goal you have set for his capture.

The other members can try to find him with investigation(very nice roleplay opportunity) of any lead I am sure you will give them eventually. Once the PC's succeed at finding him they can try many things but my best bet would be to summon a Digger like monster and make a tunnel to have him out of there.

Hope it helps. And I really hope your players stay away of this thread. I am actually thinking of possibly using this in a possible future event...
