Just thinking of the simularicum spell and I saw another post about it so I decided to post my ?. In epic rules did they modify any PH stuff like maybe put a cap on the HD of things you can copy with simu... Cause I'd like 10 simu.. elminsters and I'm willing to pony up the 10,000exp so I can have multiple 18+ level wizards running aorund under my complete control.

Not that I saw, but the rules for creating an epic spells that has a very high cap should be possible.

The trick is to get Elminster (or any powerful NPC) to agree to it.

This guy likes the ladies and all I need is some kind of sample from him like a lock of hair, or maybe other samples.

If you think you are smart enough to outwit Elminster, go for it. Frankly, I would enjoy seeing someone actually manage to humiliate him, since he has always been invincible (he can even tell off Ao without consequence)... So make a Simulacrum of him and then frame him!

How do you frame an important figure in a world where any 9th level cleric can ask his god, "Was he framed?"

Easy. You just kill the god and that his place. Then when the cleric asks you say no. :D

You don't have to frame the man in the eyes of the court just the eyes of the people. You get a bunch of his doubles running around causeing havock, murdering people etc it will look bad. The average joe generally wants to beleive bad things about powerful people anyways, so when other big guns like heads of churches stick up for him most people will think the big E is guilty but powerful people stick together.:p

But framing him in a way that doesn't get him nullified in some way (either via incarceration, death, or what have you) doesn't do you a bit of good. He's still going to hunt you down and kick your butt.
