Epic spells and non-epic immunities.

In the Magic of Faerun book, there is an enhancement that gives you immunity to the Transmutation school of magic. Would this also make you immune to Epic Spells of the Transmutation school? Additionally, that power is a +6 enhancement, does that make it an epic enhancement as well (though it makes no mention of that)?

As far as I know, only the actual enhancement bonus is considered epic if it goes above +5. You could always have a +4 proof against transmutation item without it being epic. As far as the epic spells, if it says it makes you immune to all transmutation effects, then you would be immune to all transmutation effects (including epic transmutation effects). Doesn't Mind Blank make you immune to epic enchantments? Immune is immune, though it's a good question.
