Malibeem listens closely as he knows most languages of this land to determine what the voices are saying.

Malibeem activates Blinking, Displacment and his uses his wand of shield. If the wall seems less than 5' thick, Malibeem will quickly and stealthily blink through the door. If not, he will open the door and then hide in the shadows about 15 feet back.

[if necessary] Seeing that the door will take a great deal of force to open, Malibeem opens his tool kit and applies some bearing grease to the mechanism. Sure that the mechanism will now be quiet while opened,
he slowly opens the door and retreats to the shadows in the hallway.
Well, before you make your decision (you can phase through this wall), you can definitely identify that the two or more voices are either casting spells, or reciting very strange poetry in Draconic. Honestly, this far out, I would consider both VERY viable possiblities, but whatever your characters perspective on linguistic performed draconic, that's what your hearing.

OOC: whoops.. Um sorry about that.. read the OOC, Sulli's character is my brother. We were kinda just waiting for you to say if our characters were OK to start posting IC.
Alright, that solves it. Well, feel free to begin role-playing. Are your characters actually done, or is Sulli still working on his? Either way, I won't push you into any kind of stat-using concequences until your both finalized, but your free to role-play and move on as you want.

OOC: I think Sulli's just putting finishing touches on his staff, and As far as I know, mine's done. I'll just repost my opener here for his benefit.

IC:

Unable to read the letter himself (can't speak/understand Infernal), William is nonetheless intrigued by the ring and map, and decides to find out what the scroll says. After Detecting Magic on both the silver signet ring and the map, he takes it to his brother to see if he can translate it.
"So, can you understand it, bro?"

OOC: You're up, Sulli. (If you need to read the letter, Creamsteak posted it in I think his first or second post here.

Rhazael was rapt in prayer and meditation on a mountain near Raiden when the letter reaches him. He casts Comprehend Languages on it and reads it with mounting apprehension.

"By the Sacred Light of Elishar! He invited them there with the promise of immortality, and if they're not careful enough... No, I don't want to even think about it. I must go there and make sure they don't activate it. I must not fail."

He gathers his few possessions and takes off at his best flying speed toward the lands of the North, indifferent to the chilling wind while snowlflakes freeze in his golden hair.

He's flying over the south coast of the troll lands when he notices a warrior, obsiously trasported by a magical wind, flying towards the same destination. He shouts at him, but the wind carries his voice away, and he's not able to catch up with the magical force that's carrying the fighter.

Nonetheless, he follows his trail till his destination, and lands 80' away from the large mechanicla door and stops there evaluating the two troll-kings. As soon as it's clear to him they are skilled in the martial arts, he walks forward and bows to them.

You find that you enter into a dank stone hallway. Markings of a cryptic nature, written in an old and somewhat foriegn dialect of common, and reads a bit like this:

Drazalthi, Drazalthi, Drazatrhorl.
Seras Vestulien. Seras Vestularn.
Serras Victoria. Master Vampire.
The victim incognito, excluded.
And the great Reset had commenced.

And what was the second, had began.

(You entered from the door to the south.)

Rearden reads the odd message, shrugs, and begins to move down the passage eastwards. He is careful as usual.

[ooc: I was wondering, will I be linking up with anyone?]

Great, spellcasting...I knew I should have been more careful walking down this hallway. I must have sprung some type of alarm...mmmmmmm...I'll just wait it out. Their spells can't last forever.

Malibeem has always been the patient sort, an odd characteristic in his family; then again, you don't get this far in his trade by being too eager. Before casting his shield, Mali takes another listen. He searches around for a scrying eye. Looking through his gem of seeing, he walks back down the hall as if leaving (and continuing to search for the alarm / scrying device he knows he foolishly set off) and then around the first turn he makes, he melts into the shadows gracefully, effortlessly and without sound. He then makes his way back to the concealed door and listens again (assuming someone hasn't opened the door).

Has his ploy worked...?

"I won't be bothering you longer then. Thank you for your help."
Veit places the ring on the pedestal.

OoC: sorry i was late at posting i cjust found out today that i was being waited for. i haven't picked my languages yet so if i can yes i will take infernal.

IC:" yes i can read this jsut give me a sec". sniper take the letter and read it once then translates to his brother.

he finishes with the leter and see the ring in his brothers hand. "is that the ring that she was talking about.???"

The two guardians, one still recovering from his bruising, have accepted your 'challenge' as they see it. The second Trollking approaches, and this one is perfectly willing to bear his huge metal staff against you.

Initiatives: It wins with a 28 to your 20.

The huge Trollking, bearing a double-weapon, keeps it's distance the first round, however, surprisingly it fires off a bolt-like shard of bone from the centerpiece of the huge metal staff. The bolt, however, your quick to react. You manage to shatter the bolt utterly, to the huge creatures dismay. (Natural 1), however, you find that just as you shatter the first, four more spring forth at you, but you are able to counter all of the bolts. The creature then slows down, preparing to engage you in direct combat.

(Yes, as soon as Lichtenhart Resolves his battle with the other Trollking, he will be entering the door just behind you.)

You find the passage is not easy nor difficult to move through. The walls are rather low, but only by comparison to the entrance. You wander only a few feet, winding around a few turns, before you come upon a bright red door. Bright, as in the entire door is glowing, and moving. It seem somewhat like red, heated, molten glass, but you find that it emits no heat near you. A grate window in the middle allows you to peer into the next room if you choose.
