"Darned good question that one. I'm not entirely sure. We do have alternate routes to try, which if this is a prison and letting this thing out may be big trouble, may be more prudent. I suppose from what I see it looks trapped. It may be best left that way. However if you think we'd be best off eliminating it as a threat, I'm willing."

After his inspection, Rhazael turns to Rearden (though he has yet to tell him his name) and says: "I think it was imprisoned, and I'm sure whoever did so had a very good reason. Maybe we'll find out we have to face it later, but I'd prefer to explore our other options before. I sense we have not much time."
Rhazael takes off again and goes back exploring the passageway to the north.

Malibeem will first listen at the door the mage went through and then determine his course of action. If it seems the mage is gone, he will continue throught the section of of with the concealed doorway. Mali's only real concern is that he is being watched or stalked by the mage.

Alright, well, if the mage is watching you, no method you have reveals anything of that essense. You don't hear any footsteps travelling the path that the living mage has taken, however, the more you wait, the more you feel like something bad is going to happen in this room. As a matter of fact, you already detect that motion is going through the room, but what kind and where is completely unknown. The figure in motion may simply be the air, but it seems rather dangerous. The same kind of creepy chill someone would get before a wraith, nighshade, or worse would creep up on them...

You enter into the hidden hallway, facing a deep wooden door, that doesn't appear to have been moved anytime recently. The hallway creeps a bit northward, into a large brick wall with a few words in old-common written on them, "Forbode the Reflection of Mephisto's Durance, The Dead Raise When You Leave Them The Chance, Purging and Burning the Body and Soul is the Only Cure."

Below is a strange circle, on your left hand side.

The hallway, which I'll remind you is made of bronze and a coal-like alloy makes a few turns, around some hollow seeming rooms, and as you progress (along the shown aqua colored path) you come upon a doorway where the hall continues on past. You also notice that the door appears to be marked with a sign that says, "Part" in old-common. The doorway is one which is meant to be unlocked from the top, then it folds downwards into the ground. It's made of steel, and has no keyhole or knob of any kind, but it's signified by a knocking device in the shape of a gargoyle's face.

Rearden, I assume you follow up behind and notice the same things. The red room below is the one which you stated you did not want to enter, so I marked it off so as to prevent confusion.

Yep, he's following.
Rearden will search the door to see if there is more than the obvious.
"Well it looks like we're supposed to knock".

Alright, well Rearden, you don't find any sort of trap or device embedded in or around the immediate vacinity of the door, however, you can hear the clammering of a pair of heavy feat in the next room. Heavy as in huge metal clanking feat.

William continues advancing, moving for the next corner. I have a bad feeling about this, brother.. We'ld best stay cautious.

OOC: I'll continue advancing slowly and cautiously until I notice something strange, or something changes.

Veit looks at the insects, admiring their hard working.
He then moves along the passage to the door. When he gets there he listens through it.

Rhazael flies up to find out if he can open the door from the top without knocking, if he can't he'll lower himself and, still flying, he'll knock with resolution.

"i agree with you, things are a little strange arounde here"

sniper will contine after his brother but still wating out backs.
