oh yeah - apparently, Nov 12th is ALSO the day that Fellowship of the Ring Collector's Edition is being released.

Makes me kinda wonder why Lucas would have purposely scheduled that.
Is he thinking that if people are picking up LotR, they'll just plunk down some more money for his movie?
Is he thinking that they'll buy his movie before the more expensive FotR version?
Isn't the accepted strategy to release your movie on a different day than the biggest competition?
