Thanks to all who have responded. Let this post serve as a sort of "Last Call" as I'll be trying to put this thing together starting tomorrow.

Eric's and EN World have been my strongest connection to the D&D community. Without EN World, I'd likely still be languishing without ever having been part of a real, face to face gaming group. The dedicated work of the members of this community make keeping up to date infinitely easier, not just on matters of D&D, but in related matters as well. Because Eric got the ball rolling, we have something here that, like a fine wine, only gets better with age.

ENWorld is the real centre of D&D these days. Its a crossroads where players and Dungeon Masters alike can come together to discuss, grip, and ask questions about the game we all love. If ENWorld wasn't here, then maybe 3rd ed D&D wouldn't be as popular and widespread as it currently is.

Thankyou Eric.

I hope I'm not too late for this.

ENWorld is D&D. I honestly can't imagine what my campaign would be without this resource and all the great people around. I believe ENWorld is D&D's biggest, greatest, virtualest (?) supplement, even larger (in size, greatness and usefulness) than the core books themselves.

ENworld is where I go to talk about D&D with other gamers. It's a place where I can share ideas and be inspired. ENworld is a community people who, if nothing else, have similar interests. To me, D&D is ENworld, and ENworld is D&D. If it weren't for these boards, I don't think I would still be playing the game. Thanks Eric!

When I first heard that 3.0 was coming out I kind of dismissed it...I'd grown fond of other games. One day I heard it was going to have a good skill system though, so I did a web search on where I could learn more.

I found ENWorld. I have to say, that were it not for the discussion here I may never have come back to D&D...and in terms of RPGs, D&D was my first love.

I continue to read and post here because this is a great community. Undoubtedly it's the best moderated set of forums I post in. I gladly pay my thanks for all of this to Eric Noah.

Eric made a home for me on the Internet. The Web was a place for information, but thanks to him, I learned that it could be a place for a community. His site showed what a group of dedicated people could build together. I've met many, many interesting and wonderful people because of what he started. And oh, yeah, I reignited my interest in RPGing, which likely would not have happened without his page for rumors and discussion.

There are very few like him. More's the pity. Thank you, Eric! And thank you, Kara Noah, for your patience and letting your husband do his thing!
