REG is absolutely correct. Converting old games to d20 is the best way to revive these settings and introduce them to a new generation of gamers. For those who don't like the idea, play the original rules. No one's stopping you.

While I agree that there is no reason to completely do a new game for Gangbusters, it wouldn't hurt to make it a "supplement" to Pulp Heroes, presenting the setting of Lakefront City and giving stats for it's major characters, maybe a new class or prestige class or two, notes on the "gangsters" genre and maybe how to introduce other pulpy elements into the setting. (Imagine how the gangsters in the city would react to someone like The Shadow hunting them...)

Also, Gangbusters is set largely in the 1920's as opposed to the 1930's, so some notes on the differences in those time periods would be good.
