Erol Otus Cover Art for Dungeon Crawl Classics

First Post
We are very pleased to announce that TSR legend Erol Otus has agreed to help us with the Dungeon Crawl Classics series. His all-new cover art graces the next two releases in the series, The Mysterious Tower (#3, December) and Bloody Jack's Gold (#4, February).

Erol's work is known to millions of D&D players from his iconic images for TSR in its formative years. He painted the covers to the famous "red book" and "blue book," as well as Deities and Demigods and countless modules. His work with us on Dungeon Crawl Classics brings the series full circle: it is now as close to the feel of old-style D&D as it can get, but with rules and game material that is fully 3.5 compatible.

You can see his all-new work at http://www.goodman-games.com/index.php .

Terrific news! I love the Dungeon Crawl Classic series and I'm glad to see that more is coming...with Erol's work to boot! Having the rules 3.5 rules included is good news too. Thanks for news!

Oh, now this is good news indeed. I love the DCC books!

Semi-off topic...

Glad you like the series. All I can say about the Haunted Lighthouse is... what Haunted Lighthouse? You don't have the necessary security clearance. ;)

Just be sure to be at Gen Con next year... :)

Bloody Jack's Gold, #4 in the series, is in the 10-12 range. There wil be several more mid and high level adventures, then the levels will continue to rise gradually after that, eventually hitting the 20+ mark.

It's good to see publishers who note that not only are the writers and the 'feel' of 1st edition important to some, but many miss that style, that essence of the old editions.

Kudos!

Someone was supposed to get me a copy of it this year, but it never happened... I physically can't get to a GenCon, what with a full time job, and a wife with a full time job, and all of the other things in real life that prevents me from going to such functions.

All I want is to buy a steenking book... <sniff>

Ah well... Hopefully reading Morningstar will make me feel a little better...
