I think due to the fact that they changed the timeline the whole personal issues thing is going to be a jumbled mess for awhile. Hopefully the writers and producers can straighten this out or it will turn into another "Lost" or "Battlestar Galatica" which I liked in the beginning but has turned into a miasma of character angst.

I am a little confused over the ending (maybe it was because I caught the midnight showing and was about to fall asleep). I looked to me that they were showing Carter all alone at the end realizing that he was about to be alone in real life as well with Allison sort of reconsiling with Stark and Zoe about to go off with mom. However in the preview for next week Zoe is definitely at home with Sherrif Carter. So did I miss something or is the Zoe/Ex-wife thing still unreasolved and hopefully covered next week.

Zoe and ex-wife is unresolved.

I was not sure I was liking some of the changes but they have been growing on me, the timeline was changed and we are seeing the results.

I think they show the episodes in an order different than they are written or filmed, hence Zoe is still around next week.
And that's never been done in a TV series before. :p

That's probably not a bad guess though.
