He's a favorite actor of mine, enough that I recognized the name; he played Saul Panzer and Lon Cohen in A&E's Nero Wolfe mysteries.

You know I doubted that, but wasn't gonna say because I couldn't remember then just this week I saw that ep and went- "dam, what's his name was right, I should apoloize for doubting him- oh, wait I didn't post that- do I need to apologize?" I guess I do now

He was in a movie with Karen Duffy too, I can't remember and to lazy to do a search.

He is one of those actors that surprise you when you realize eveything he has been in, constant work.

That's usually the case: I'll recognize someone, not know why, and when I finally do find out, I'll be floored.

OTOH, I've not been too impressed with this guy. *shrugs* It mainly was not being able to place him.

He's Saul Rubinek, and knowing which name to look up I was able to find out that he's played small parts in lots of shows I've watched, but I've managed to miss most of his movies.

You know, I never knew his name. Every time I see him I remember him as the coke-buying director from True Romance. GREAT MOVIE btw. Rent it if you haven't seen it... It's got a ton of actors in it. Sam L (small role), Brad Pitt (great role!), Christian Slater (main character and this is one of his better movies).
