[sblock=OOC Adveture]
To give a bit more details before a NPC comes in for recruitment, the adventure is about rescuing fellow adventurers that went mysteriously MIA during a teleportation gone awry. First step is discovering what happened to them and their current location. At that point, it becomes a rescue operation of a squad caught deep in hostile territory. Because of course, they are in Hostile Territory; we don't have much of a story if they teleported in a spa and simply decided to spend a week resting!

Cyr seems to have a useful skill set for what I have in mind. But of course, you ALWAYS need a leader, arguably the most essential role. You can adapt around having no tank or striker but the only adpatation to having no healing in a tough fight is to run away. ;)

So it's cool that you have some versatility.

FourMonos, you interested?

By the look of it, this has become a level 1-3 adventure (Higher level PCs ought to go with Voda Vosa).

first wilden?

The door opens and thiefling enters, but his horns are a bit off. On second glance it becomes obvious it is not a thiefling, horns are flexible and what apeared to be cloak of leaves is actually leaves on the creature. You may have heard of the race from the depths of Feywild or you may not, but in front of you stands a wilden.

"I am Nementah, shaman."
She then looks at the barkeep.
"Is that enough for an introduction? I'd like some water."

She then chooses a table in the corner and sits quietly, observing strange creatures surrounding her.

Few minutes later, stately deva enters and announces

"Cyr Iannes, servant of the Sky Lord at your service."

He nods to every patron and approaches the bar.
"Coffee, if you have it. Tea otherwise, strongest you've got."

OOC: I know, two characters in the same place, but the rules say 'no meaningful interraction' - this is just until we see if there is a leader for Mal Malenkirks adventure. Cyr may be more interested in mystery then in adventurers while Nementah needs allies for fight with her tribes trouble.

By the way, if any of you DMs are looking for far-off aberration/mystery adventure hook, see Nementah's history.

[sblock=ooc] I am very interested! I have been trying to finish some details on my character so he is approved. Renquist is an Ardent Paladin, so more of a striker rather than defender, but I can try to optimize both roles if that is what is needed. And thanks to all who appreciate a little Jan Jansen in their lives... [/sblock]

Renquist turns his head slightly to take in the new patroons of the Hanged Man. He gives a slight nod to the humanoid made of plants and the being bathed in divine aura, Cyr.

[sblock=OOC]I am being proactive and trying to locate players with unnaproved PCs that seem available and PM them. I spotted one so far. But it's hard because in the new wiki I can't locate the character sandbox or any page that IDs all the unnapproved character.[/sblock]

[Sblock=Adventure]Okay, I shook up some trees and am confident we'll see at least a 4th PC join reasonably fast. I will post the IC job proposal soon.

Metavoid: We'll use the Shaman. On further thought, he'll be perfect.

Current Lineup

All level 1

Rocco, fighter
Renquist, Paladin
Nementah, shaman

A powerfully built dragonborn enters the tavern briskly, with arms and armor bearing the crest of the Daunton's guard. He looks weary and ruffled.

-''Hey, back already! Weren't you in, like a few hours ago?'' asks the barman cheerfully. The dragonborn look at him in frustration. A tiny green cloud is expelled as he exhale in frustration. The barman backs away quickly.

-''All right, all right, I'll leave you to your business.''

The dragonborn walks to the center of the room

-''Listen up everybody. Just a little while ago, I came in and recruited a few good men from these very tables. They did their job and then some. Really went beyond the call of duty. But now they are missing. Let it not be said that Patrin leaves men behind! No sir. That's not how we do it in the guard. I need a search and rescue party and I need it quick. The gold is good, but I need ressourceful people with some guts.''

He then sits at a table and await expectantly competent candidates.

Sheng makes a small gesture with his hand and smiles mischiveously at Patrin from his table, before returning to his meal.

Meanwhile the couple in need of aid begin to desperate. The woman breaks in crying and the elder man tries to confort her. Until now, no adventurer has reached their table, and the sudden outburst of the dragonborn apparently got to the nerves of Mrs Tine.
