The unplanned part will be the amount of time they are down.
That's not what "unplanned maintenance" means. Unplanned maintenance is maintenance that you hadn't planned to do. It's corporate-speak for "I've fallen and I can't get up". However, this is extended unplanned maintenance (a somewhat mind-boggling concept all by itself) which I presume is corporate-speak for "I've fallen and I can't feel anything from the neck down" ;)

Are people going to subscribe to DDI, given the fact that they can't keep a simple set of community forums running for a day at a time?

Oh yes, on-topic... Consider the motion on skill challenges thirded.

So I guess they should have left out skill challenges and solo monsters, I suppose. And multiclassing. Not to mention a whole list of fantasy tropes like necromancers and enchanters.

- Skill challenges arent broken, they work for me and my party.
- Multiclassing isnt broken, its different, but 4.0 is also different.
- Solo monsters i havent tried yet..
- Necromancers and Enchanters arent in the books, so cant be let out or be broken..

These are all my opinions, just as you have..

I've long since thought that "Psychic Robot" was a troll of some kind. Perhaps not an intentional one - but someone who is so completely embittered by 4E that he has to fill all of his posts with vitriol.

Also, as an aside - someone on that other web site made a post attacking ENWorld for banning Robot over this thread, calling ENWorld's "bias and stupidity". I think the poster need only look at Robot's post above his wherein he links this thread and states, "I'm making popcorn as we speak". That's the statement of a troll, who is only looking to stir up trouble for his own amusement.

Kudos to the mods.
