Exalted: Lunars?

That's exactly what I was doing. I was looking for the thread where someone mapped the world of darkness races to the exalted. I knew how all but the dragon-blooded fit in. I guess they supposedly become the Eastern Vampires? Sucks to be them.

Well it's pretty much speculation and a well that makes some sense sort of thing. It's also all there ever will be, since there will never be anything official.

(sigh) (sniff, sniff) Waaaaaaaaaaaaa....I still cry when someone says "The WoD has ended".....goodbye, my lovely friend!
*scampers off to pout*

I was mostly thinking about the necromancy angle.

Oooh, I get it now, and to distract you from my slowness I'll ask a question...

Does anyone know what's on the way after Blood & Salt?

I know how you feel... I really, really hope that the new WoD will be absolutely, breath-takingly excellent.

I'm pretty sure the next two books are Player's Guide (big hardback a la the fatsplats) and Aspect Book: Earth. Not sure about the order, though.

Last I saw, the list looked kinda like this:

Blood and Salt (March)
Exalted Player's Guide (April)
A Day as Dark as Night #1 (Novel, May)
Aspect Book: Earth (June)
Graceful, Wicked Masks / Exalted: the Fair Folk (October)
More Aspect Books (???)
Harborhead / Cult of Ahlat Book (???)

Yeah, good stuff coming. RPG-Net member Blaque (The Exalted Release Date Monkey), keeps an unofficial release-schedule at: http://www.lensmen.net/wiki/exalted.pl?ExaltedReleaseSchedule

Looking forward to the Essence Beads, but mostly to the Player's Guide: http://www.white-wolf.com/retail/RetailDownloads/2004PDFs/6June04PDF/ExaltedPeripheralEssenBeads.jpg

Which should have :

It will have expanded informaton on backgrounds, including optional xp costs for them.

Full rules for god-blooded and dragon kings as PC's. Possibly beastmen as well

Merits and flaws.

Other possibles that have shown up regularly.

Mortal sorcery and martial arts.

A guide to writing realm and lunar script.

High essence charms, and/or more detailed guidelines on making your own custom charms.

Speeding up combat: Alternate methods of handling fights with huge dice pools and arrays of charms, and mass combat rules.

More roleplaying advice.

A 4 page universal character sheet.

I don't know...WoD was pretty much perfect for me (I had made a few changes to some of the mucky parts)...you can't really improve much on perfection...(sigh)

Hey, since this is an Exalted thread.....I was wondering if anyone else had this idea:
I originally started Exalted's world with the idea that it could be within the WoD's Umbra as one of the levels. This was mainly due to the fact that some of the players wanted to play an Exalted character in the modern world.
Now, I figured that *occasionally* they can figure out how to leave their level and meet up with werewolves, but very, very rarely actually escape to the "real world"....
More than likely we play things way differently than "by the book", but what do all of you think of this concept? I haven't really brought up the idea to the group, but I *might* have one of them "break out" into another level of the Umbra....
(Incidentally, I'm not following WoD's timeline, so I still have plenty of time before my WoD ending ;))

I decided to check the Exalted forums after visiting here yesterday and saw mention of it there and went hunting (Blaque uses the same name at the Exalted forums).

People are also working on an index for all of the Exalted books, which is here.

Looking forward to the Essence Beads, but mostly to the Player's Guide:

I defintely like the sound of the PG.
