All the stories about the stat rerolls reminds of a guy I knew back in school. He only played fighters, and would only play one with an 18 Strength. But he didn't want to cheat, so he would roll and roll the d6s until it finally came up with an 18. Having now "legitimately" rolled his Strength, he would proceed to roll five more times for the other stats. He didn't think of this as cheating, he did it right in front of us and told us what he was doing.
