My fiancée abd I were in a Hallmark store the other day picking out a card for a friend of ours, and they had a huge selection of those new-fangled audio cards... You know, you open them and they sing a song or play a bit of a movie.
Anyways, there were two different SW-themed ones; a Vader one which played the imperial march and a yoda one which I'm not sure of the name of the song it played... but it was one of the "heroic" ones. The Yoda one would be great for starting a session and getting people in the mood, and the imperial march is perfect for setting the tone when the ****'s about to go down (I have the imperial march set as my ringtone for my father
). At $4.99 a piece, it's affordable, and it's nice because you don't need a laptop, an mp3 player or speakers. The only thing I worry about is that it might not be loud enough to carry accross a large table... definitely not loud enough if you play in a noisy space.
And if you're curious, we ended up picking out a Xena card for him that went "Ayayayayayayayayay!" I tell you, not the card you want to open when you're sitting on an airplane...
