The name is rather suspicious, especially with the suits ability to move on itself. But still: I think I have to get one for me (just thinking about doing a bit of jogging next to some of those daily joggers ...)

Wow, Waldo's, video phones... all we need now are flying cars that go "brrrrrrr" and I will finally believe it's the 21st century!

TOKYO (AFP) said:
Japan has taken a step into the science-fiction world with the release of a "robot suit" that can help workers lift heavy loads or assist people with disabilities climb stairs. <...> "Humans may be able to mutate into supermen in the near future," said Yoshiyuki Sankai, professor and engineer at Tsukuba University who led the project. <...> Japan has seen a growing market for technology geared toward the elderly, who are making up an increasing chunk of the population as fewer younger Japanese choose to start families.
Soon to be released as well: The Revenge of the Super Granny ! :p

As my son has cerebral palsy, I always take a keen interest in stories such as these and those relating to stem cell research.

Okay, so, how does a robot suit imply that people will "mutate into supermen"? Is it radioactive or something? Either the speaker isn't all there, or the translation isn't all there. Makes the whole article seem rather suspect.

So, I dunno if the exo-skeleton is here. Maybe it's in the neghborhood, but it isn't here yet. My guess is that it's stopping off to pick up munchies (since it can move on it's own, and all), and maybe it'll show up in a half hour or so...
