Expanded Spellbook and multiclassing...

I know that the wizard spellbook does not increase the number of spells you can cast per day but if you are a wizard and take expanded spellbook and decide to swap out a daily attack power (via multiclass feat) does that mean you have 2 wizard daily attack powers and 1 daily attack power from your multiclass to choose from?

I was also trying to wrap my head around what would happen if a character took arcane initiate, adept power and then expanded spellbook.

a) Nothing happens and you wasted a feat on expanded spellbook

b) When you swap out a power to gain a wizard daily power you get to choose 2...and when you retrain you only lose the one you chose to swap for

c) same as b except you lose both

I think if b is true then things can be interesting... because then you could have your fighter fill his daily slots with wizard spells since he could eventually choose from 1 fighter / 1 wizard daily attack known per daily attack level...

Nope, sorry. When you swap out a power from your wizard class for your multiclass power, you lose all the spells in that "slot" in your spellbook and gain one power from the new class.

Also, in your second scenario, pretty sure RAI is that you need the Spellbook class feature to take Expanded Spellbook, but it's not officially errata'd yet, so the same rule would apply. When you pick a wizard power you gain two in your spellbook, if you later swap those out for one of your original class's powers, you lose both and get one from your first class.
