Likewise, LEGO isn't owned by Hasbro, and with the Transformers kinex Hasbro is putting out, it seems they don't want to license out making toys to another company.

Considering the outrageous prices on LEGO products these days, I'd be happier to see some company like Mega Bloks pick up the D&D license, I find their products are much more creative and incredibly cheaper.

Toys.
. . .
And by "toys" I don't mean an endless supply of elves and orcs. I mean action figures for displacer beasts, beholders, owlbears, unicorns, griffons, Tiamat...

Or instead of action figures, how about practical items that people could use every day, such as displacer sheets, tea-holders, towelbears, uniphones, griffocrons (like crayons)?
- Backpack "of Folding"?
- Runic Tunic?
- Headband of Distraction? (To draw attention away from Runic Tunics?)

Bring back minis and the minis game. I used to spend thousands on these.

As nice as Paizo's new ones look (and they do look incredible), I enjoyed the tactical game as well as using them for my D&D table.

Gotta echo this; the prices on LEGO are just insane. I work at a retail outlet and one of our biggest departments is toys. Compared to every other toy, LEGO has to be at least 300% dearer on a subjective value for money basis. Just a small box will cost $50 and build one small vehicle. As a kid, I used to buy all my own toys and had to save money from working, stealing and b-day money. I was a huge fan of LEGO and I'm fairly certain that if you adjusted for inflation that LEGO prices have at least doubled in the last twenty or so years.

Given production values HAD to have come down in that time due to greater automation and computerisation, I find it appalling that the prices have increased. LEGO used to be an every-kid's toy, now it's just for rich-kids.
