Zurd yells in orcish...

Stop you little runts - or I'll kill you myself.

Kol finds it easy to refrain from running headlong after the orclings. First and foremost he saw no honor in butchering children. Also he had been getting too much flak for taking the fight to the enemy.

Mayhaps this was the future Mighty Orc Tribe Zurd could rule with an iron fist?

He leaned back and let the Half-Breed handle the situation.

Lokin looks at the small orc children with a bit of confusion and a degree of guilt, as well. He listens to Zurd's words with a wince. Lokin yells to the orcs.

[sblock=Orcish]"Do what he says. We do not want to hurt you."[/sblock]

The orcs run out through the door, slam it behind them, and... you don't know where they go next. Kongu muses, with a sense of irony, "So now we've become the terrifying ones."

Payne is incredibly shocked to find three orcish children on the other side of the door, and when Zurd threatens them her eyes narrow to dangerous slits. Brandishing her weapons, whether to attack the children or the half-orc 'companion' is not quite clear at this moment but as he runs to the door to open it she calls out. ``Let them go! They've nothing we need. I will not spill their youthful blood, nor will I stand back and watch you do so just because you've something to prove.`` Her voice isn't really .. threatening in tone, more stern than anything. Zurd knew how the rogue felt about slaughtering children - how she'd have no part. Not then.. and definitely not now.

[sblock=Zurd]You reopen the door to find another passage running straight ahead. It leads to another secret door about 30-40' on, which the orc kids are just opening as you join their passage.[/sblock]

I'll assume the rest of you are staying back in the bedroom unless you tell me otherwise.

Lokin will pursue Zurd if he happens to be still carrying the torch. If not, he will hold back and light a new torch.

I haven't been keeping track of torch time very rigorously -- I think the torch may be going out, if not now then soon. There is no light source in the room, unlike the hall, so let's say Lokin lights a new torch as Zurd chases the orclings.

Zurd hears the woman and her taunt....

Zurd knows the ways of orcs, these children will grow into adults and then what? They will want revenge for the deaths of their fathers. Most could care less for their mothers but their line is something different.

He continues to chase them....
