Extended Rest and Dailies

I guess I'll have to see how 4th plays. My experience of 3.0/3.5 (unfortunately) was definitely that the party have two or three encounters (i.e. only say 10% of the dungeon) whereupon they bugger off to rest for a day or two. Not fun, all that in and out business and can spoil the continuity.

The best solution (for me) in 4th ed would be that a party can tackle a sufficient number of encounters to fill up a day before needing the extended rest. I suppose I'll have to wait and see...
