D&D General Extra Life Charity D&D Accessories - With possible hints for the Forgotten Realms books?

This explains why it said 8 species at one point. 1. Fairies, 2. Boggarts, 3. Elves, 4. Flamekin, 5. Rimekin, 6. Kithkin, 7. Changeling, 8. Dhampyr (Book of Hunger).

I'm wondering if the some of these will get additional mechanics?
Possibly some slight shifts (like maybe the Elves will have a different Lineage option or options from thebPHB?), but I suspect other than Flamekin and Rimekin the difference will be largely lore text, like with Eberroj and Wildemoujt variants.

I think Kithkin will need something, say something that could double as ghostwise halflings like adding telepathy.

Then Halfling would make a terrible Kithkin.
It’s very easy to just say “Halfling Characters can communicate telepathically in Lorwyn” as a general setting rule without needing to make an entire new variant.

Also, reminder that the original reveal said “guidance on running species” in the setting. That’s likely less “print a new Halfling/Elf/Goblin” and more “Halflings/Elves/Goblins in this setting have X.”

Though for Beyond technical purposes, they have had digital reprints of Race/Species that are Setting specific, so not that odd.
