F.A.T.A.L. smells like a big inside joke, a send-up, a lampoon, a straight-faced parody.
I suspect this because of the bald-faced brazenness of the ugly bits, and the plethora of huge, unusable tables. I think the author is having a big fat laugh at the RPG community's expense.
IMO, if an author is really crazy & rotten enough to produce that sort of work as a dead-serious effort, you'd see more cracks in the plaster, more skirling madness in the material, as it were.

It stood for "Fantasy adventure to adult lechery" or some such, IIRC. (Also IIRC, they changed its meaning to "From another time, another land" later.)

Putting it mildly, when a game has... umm, bodily orifice circumference rules, and in-game effects for these, my interest ceases at that point.

Not only does it cause me to lose interest, I find myself questioning the judgement of the games creators, questioning their values, and hoping that the game does not become someone's first exposure to gaming.

I don't see what's so shocking about the game beside the fact that it seems to be very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very ververy very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very veryvery very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very y very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very boring.
