I've been following Fable for over 2 years now. I hope it's all it's cracked up to be cause that game look hellacool.

I so can not wait for this game. From IGN's site:

"Evil and benevolent opportunities abound at every corner. Take, for example, the wasp head trophy I've won. Right after claiming my prize, I spot three old men sitting on a bench, looking at me in wonder. I display the trophy proudly and they give me props and boost my renown. Then I beat them to death with the trophy."

The reason I bought an Xbox was mainly to play this game.

If you had waited you could have saved $120. Yes, I realize you've likely gotten you're money's worth anyway, but I won't let that stop me.

I'm spazing over this game. I'm counting down the days until it comes out and my preorder arives at the store. And damn it 2 months later halo2 comes out, same month of fable burnout 3, for the ps2 suppsosedly san andreas comes out this year(though I'm not a 90's gansta film fan so the backgorund will suck for me, at least I'll have the random mahem of GTA) And there is so much more, the end of this year is pure console gameing crank.

I did wait until the first price drop to get mine but I do wish I had waited. My Xbox didn't get alot of use in the early days. Now, it's almost all that I play.

When the next generation of consoles come out I may try and wait to pick them up. Problem is that I'm such an impulse buyer and I simply must have the latest and greatest. I think I need treatment. :)

Well, I got back from GenCon yesterday. I had a chance to demo Fable while I was there. They had a pretty full build from what I understand. 2 of stations had just the first stage (training) to demo but they also had a couch where you could sit and play it on a widescreen 40 inch TV. Visually, the game looks awesome in motion. Colors are bright, animation is very smooth and the feel screams "fantasy fiction." The voice-acting was solid and the controls were smooth. I didn't get a chance to play for very long (as you can imagine) but September 14th can't get here fast enough...

What price drop? I was thinking of picking up an X-Box to go with my new HDTV, and noticed that Target had them for $149.99. Is that the new price or are they going to drop further?
