Faerie Fire affects "creatures and objects within a 5-ft. radius burst." What happens when affected creatures leave that area? Does the glow stick to them?

(I assume that creatures that enter that area after the spell is cast are unaffected.)

Since the area is creatures and objects the spell would still effect creatures or objects that were in the 5-ft. radius burst at the time of casting but later left that area (like a targeted spell).

Yup. It's been confirmed that that's how Bless works, for example.
