I am posting this as Faeryln's player. Since her storyline was abruptly stolen from her, i have decided to complete it a bit quicker then before.

Her playing character pets as of currently are:

If you are involved in the storyline of Faeryln, or would like to become a pet before the climax to her storyline happens, post here. I wish to have Fae caught, battled, and taken, alive. I will not allow her to die. But i do wish her to be imprisoned in Oerth, as wizo_simon is attempting. Any and all who would like to be in the storyline of faeryln, please post here, though i am saddened that i have to remove her much sooner than i wished, i am not going to let one person's decision ruin what could still be very entertaining rp for many people. So if you'd like to participate in any way (of the non 'i want my character to kill her' variety, because i dont want her dead) ..or you'd like to have her collar your character before she finally is captured and forced to free them all, post here.

Or if you have any questions as to what faeryln can do or what she can not do or basically anything ooc wise, please feel free to ask here. I try to make it very clear of what she can and can not do and keep her played fairly in every aspect. Though if i don't know someone wants to know about something, or is questioning something, i can't inform them of it. :) So feel free to ask away if you want. I want this to be the most enjoyable RP possible for all who are involved, because that's what its all about, having fun.

For everyone who has went along with Faeryln in storylines and what not, i would like to also personally thank you for your cooperation and helping me as a player make Faeryln the evil drow that she is :D

On one more note, any storyline ideas are welcome here as well. Or just general comments about what you think of the storyline ect.

This will basically be the climactic end to faeryln On Site. For a very long time, if not permanantly. So i really would like this to be the best possible Rp with her that i can make it. And i will appreciate any suggestions or cooperation in coorelation to the storyline, offered.

Well, yes, I'm slightly involved, lol!

For those who have objected, by the way, it was a fair catch. Kat's never been good at dodging daggers in the back from someone who teleports directly behind her while Kat's talking to someone else. And oddly enough, I actually play that Kat loses some dexterity and alertness late at night after several drinks. Weird, isn't it?

There have been many suggestions as to how to remove the collar, and I've cleared some with Faeryln's player as to which might work and which wouldn't. With memories of Dave gone (yes, I'm naming names, it makes things so much clearer to other players), Kat no longer feels bound by his request to handle it and is more willing to try any of them. Be it known that the ones that kill her without managing to remove the poison and collar, will just leave her "mostly dead" with Faeryln able to bring her back still collared.

Getting Kat un-collared successfully, or even unsuccessfully, could easily be the draw to bring Faeryln into a trap to capture her, if someone wants to work that up.

But I'm not sure what the timeline is for this?

Faeryln/Melyxnt/etc., were you thinking this would happen in the next week or two? or did you want longer?
 

I'm assuming 2-3 weeks at tops, since there is no reason for Faeryln to continue much longer, dave's memory being gone, she hasn't a goal, and hasn't an heir, since that storyline was ruined as well. So im thinking within the next 2-3 weeks we will be able to draw this out into the finale, and have one hell of a good Rp :D
 


He's certainly no drow, but KRAGGAR is a worthy catch... provided Faerlyn's upto battling something that bite's like a blue shark and hits like a truck! :-P
 

Sheesh, two volunteers for more collars and none for taking her out? lol!

Kat's had two offers yesterday in-chat that might work into the story.

1) Nugan's offering a deal to have Apathy take out Faeryln. This might be fun, the folks in Apathy are always great to play with. And they're certainly a group that would be interested in Simon's reward.

2) Jaaxx is offering to get Kat away from Faeryln in return for wearing one of his collars instead. :-P On the other hand she's considering it because Kat thinks he's more easily intimidated by the marshalls, and also he doesn't have the personal history with Kat so he might be more easily bargained with into letting her go completely. But I'm not sure how this can work into capturing Faeryln and releasing the others.

Faeryln will be unable to be caught by one person alone. It's going to take a trap/lure/ploy of some sort to get faeryln to show up, and then its going to take many at once to bring her down. Basically because she can go invisible via the grey cloud of smoke skill, at will, so it would take the combined efforts of many to track her down and ambush her. The main reason i wish to have it a combined effort, and not let one single character apprehend her, is because many people are involved in the storyline and it would be unfair to let one have precident over all others. This way all involved have a chance at her :) and it will make for a better Rp :D

Ok, on the other note, any that wish to be collared by Faeryln, email me with the screen name and i will email you with the legistics of the collar and also let me know the best times for you to be on, so we can work out a meeting time, and do it ASAP because this storyline is going to be finished within 3 weeks at most. And most pets are collared for a week or two at least :) So, email at

And last but not least. If you want to fix what happened, then fix it, by taking back what you said on your thread, and inform all those whom it affected. It's too late to fix faeryln's storyline, but it doesn't mean the rest of the characters involved with 'the poison arrow' should have to be dented like they were when dave was yanked. Everyone makes mistakes, true, but it's fixing them that gets respect :)

But anyway...the best thing to do in this, is gather together your allies, and form a plan to ambush faerlyn :) And again, if you wish to know of what fae can and can not do, or the collar specifics, OOC wise, just ask here, and i'll be glad to tell you. But just to make sure there is no confusion, this information is all OOC and is to remain such. :)

Okay, let's get specific.

Faeryln is drow, so essentially immune to sleep & charm spells, and most poisons, and more resistant to enchantment in general, right? She says she has some mist/fog dragon blood, so misty/gaseous/ghost spells don't bother her or at least don't work fully. Her skin is coated with poison, so no grabbing her unless you're immune.

I know about the smoke business. I've also heard some ability with shadows but right now I don't remember seeing it?

So how well would the following work on her?

1) Wish spell to capture her. Kat has just been given one bonafide Efreeti-driven wish. Of course, the wording is everything, and in-char Kat is more likely to just wish herself free of Faeryln's influence as being more easy to word correctly.
2) Binding spell (will negates)
3) Physical effects spells such as blindness, enervate, etc. (fortitude negates)
4) Mind effects spells such as confusion, daze, etc. (will negates)
5) Psionic attacks on her mind

And let me know of any of the following is wrong:

The poison on Faerlyn's skin and daggers is fatal, with the only antidote being to drink of Faerlyn's blood. This doesn't remove the poison, only mutates it to something that helps her control the wearer.

The collars are enchanted underdark snakes, but I understand that a simple "dispel magic" won't work on them, and instead will probably trigger the connection to crush the wearer's heart, as will any other attempt to remove them. They also deliver electric shocks if touched or at Faeryln's whim.

The blood poison and/or collar also keeps a part of the wearer's life force if the wearer is killed, so that Faeryln can revive them or not as she chooses, but no resurrection spell will work unless the collar (and poison?) can be removed first. If Faeryln herself cuts the collar off, all effects are negated.
 

A new complication for the storyline:

Kat volunteered information on the second drow house to Rym'dael, the relatively new evil cleric in Sril've Cress (information about Nartheaj, heh, among other stuff). Kat happened to mention that she might not be able to do that again, that Faeryln might restrict her, and that Faeryln may be especially unwilling to help Sril've Cress since they refused Faeryln's entrance to the house. Rym'dael has told Kat to tell Faeryln that he wishes Kat released, and Faeryln should come and talk to Rym'dael.
