Sounds nice. I was a bit concerned that character gen seemed like a time waster. I mean its sounds nice when you first play it, but on the fifth time? I think I'd rather skip it.

I'm not going to rule this out just yet. I'm just a bit concerned.

Remember that Oblivion had a save point right before you exited the sewers that allowed you to change any part of your character. It wouldn't surprise me if Fallout didn't have the same thing.

Well then you should get them and play them.

This one IS looking good, no doubt about it, but unless you play the first two, I think your enjoyment will be greatly diminished.

(Not just a fanboy rant.)
They are great games. And you can get them both very cheap now, and really, really should.

Then again, I 'started' the series with Wasteland, way, way back when.... The official sequel never came out, so Fallout was done by some of the folks who really enjoyed the old DOS game. :) It takes very little digging to find the old game online, but you will need something like DOSBox in order to play it. Not as good as the Fallout games though worthwhile if you are a completest.

I am so looking forward to seeing what Bethesda can do with the license. :D

The Auld Grump, who doesn't really count Fallout Tactics....

Eek. That was the last Fallout I played. . .

:uhoh:
Were you couarageous enough to play it to the end? I did  . I had to go and find Fallout 2 to scrub the game from my mind. I hope Bethesda does better, I truly do...

'Fraid so. :o Uh, yeah. . . courageous. What you said, yeah. :heh:

Honestly, I don't think Bethesda will do any worse. Actually, IMO, they've proven themselves, well and truly. So I'm not worried. . . just impatient.
