Its an arachnid. Bugs are insects. Different # of body segments, different numbers of legs, arachnids never have wings etc etc. It is not a bloody bug!Agreed. It's a bug, therefore it should be vermin.

Yup, its very light, and just spreads itself thin and jumps into the wind.You say arachnids never have wings but this one can fly. Does it glide?
Yes, its tail curls under it instead of up over it, which is used to keep it more securely anchored to a branch or whatnot.You say it has a segmented tail tipped with a backward curving, long-pointed stinger. But its main attack is a bite? And arachnids don't have teeth. They have mandibles.
