Fan created Gamma World module

Tetsubo

First Post
The PAForge is proud to announce the completion of the long awaited fan generated adventure module GW5 : Rapture of the Deep for Gamma World 2nd Ed.
This project has taken a long time to be completed since its planned release (in excess of 21 years by my reckoning), BUT it has been WELL worth it.
The authors and artists involved in this project have really done a marvelous job on this. I honestly could spend hours simply adding positive adjectives to the people involved in this project, but then I'd be stealing all the accolades from you guys, which I'm sure you would all like to express.
So... please don't be shy or quiet... please give a round of thanks to the following people....

Mars, Les Braun, SixthSixtySix, John 'Calel' Steele, Stu Shepherd, Larry Elmor, Hideyoshi Ruwwe, John Wu, and Neuville

I genuinely appreciate your efforts and your work. I think a special thanks goes to Les Braun for organizing all of this and shepherding everyone through the process. Without his leadership this may never have been more than wishful thinking on our parts.

You can find the file at the PAForge under the GW2nd Ed. and Scenarios links.

THANK YOU!

Very cool. I like the adaptation of Florida as mostly flooded. The name changes are great--one of the things I always liked about Gamma World.

Tetsubo,

I am a bit confused. You say this was a fan generated module that took 21 yrs to produce. Did this start as an unpublished TSR adventure that you guys completed? Are some of the contributors old authors for GW?

Either way, I have to give you props on the very professional layout. It gives me some nostalgic memories. That is a fine piece of work.

Any chance for conversions to other editions? I am curious why you chose 2nd ed GW. Not because I have a problem with 2nd ed. It just happens to be the version I never played. Loved 1st as a kid. Came back with 3rd....loved the rules set for 4th.

Congrats.

Congrats.

TSR had planned on publishing GW5 for the 2E version of Gamma World. But one thing lead to another and it fell through the cracks. Even the notes were lost. Only a brief outline remained. Last year some of the GW diehards started working on writing the Lost Module. This is it...

Very pretty and slick! Nice to see that my critters made the cut, esp since I left the list just after they started working on it.

Very nice! Plus it is general enough I can use this for my Traveller games as well. Very nicely done. Thanks for sharing it.

Update: I tried having this printed and bound at Staples and they refused on copyright terms. Kinko's printed it without issue...
