This and Paizo product were side by side in the LGS. Theyre roughly the same price. This one had maps. The Paizo product had minis AND map tiles. There was NO CONTEST.

It's worth noting that the Paizo map ends up as 10"x16" - it's double sided, so there are two maps.

The Fane maps are 21"x30", and there are four maps.

Quite simply, Fane is all about the maps. :) The adventure makes use of being on the maps, and is surprisingly modular. It also has several opportunities for expansion, which is nice.

My favourite map is the Mithral Mines if simply because I can use it again and again for tunnel encounters.

No problem! It also worked out for me as the players have recently taken possession of Brightstone Keep (per the free module on WotC's site), and I've been looking for something to put in the mine noted in that adventure. So having these maps as a permanent reference is very convenient. :cool:
